Children’s Dental Health Month fact #1: This nifty little chart shows the order in which your child’s baby teeth appear. It is recommended that children are seen for their first dental visit once they have teeth come in. Although baby teeth will eventually fall out to allow permanent teeth to erupt, it is crucial to care for these teeth to insure no damage is done to the permanent teeth. We encourage parents to assist with teeth brushing until age 5 because children often do not have the dexterity necessary to get all of those hard to reach places!
